Material Care

Diamond slices come in all shapes and sizes, all colors and tints, all thicknesses and have all different types of guts (from cloudy to streaky to spotty to clear). They should be treated with the utmost care. The thin and included nature of these diamonds makes them vulnerable to breakage when not careful. Ultrasonic cleaning is not recommended, as it can possibly cause the diamonds to crack, and it will remove the hand-patina finish. It is best to use a standard polishing cloth to clean your F&P pieces.

As for most jewelry, always keeping these pieces out of water (bathing, swimming, hand washing) and away from aggressive activities will prolong their lives. Please note, all metals patina over time.

The goal is to always provide you with a durable piece of jewelry, but most jewelry is delicate by nature. Broken stone replacement and refinishing services for all F&P pieces are available, please email us for a quote. Customer pays for all shipping costs and must purchase shipping insurance.

All diamonds are purchased from certified 100% natural and conflict-free sources. 

 

Shipping & Returns

All domestic orders are insured and shipped via USPS priority mail. This means they will typically arrive within 3-5 business days from the day they were shipped. Please keep in mind, most pieces are custom made, and can take 2-3 weeks to ship.

In the event you would like to make a return, please send an email to info@francisandphilly.com. Returns must be made within 14 days of ship date. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs and must purchase shipping insurance to guarantee a refund. F&P is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages.
